In the midst of getting everything together my sweet children came to me and were so proud that they had dressed themselves. One thing I have learned in my almost 5 years of parenting is you have to let some things go. So they donned sponge bob shirts and too big sweats and mismatched socks. It didn't make for a family portrait but it did provide my favorite pictures from thanksgiving. These kids crack me up.
Jared had to remove the boys from the table once and talk to them but other than that the kids table did well and it was fun to hear them giggle together.
My first big holiday is over and now we move onto Christmas Eve. :)

Okay so I will be the one to ask...SERIOUSLY WOMAN is your name Martha? Becky it looks amazing. I cook and that is fine but I never think of hmm napkins or name tags or centerpieces. I want to come to your house lol
I agree with Megan, everything looks so amazing! I'm terrified to cook an entire holiday meal...Google and Youtube tutorials may be in my very near future :). P.S. I e-mailed you back about the giveaways, thanks again...I'm so excited!
So glad Thanksgiving was a hit! I love the last step on your to do list! Cracked me up. Loved the boys' outfits too!
Looks amazing! I read this post the other day and today Drew's Girl Scout troop is required to bring in 13 bags of cookies with the recipe card attached. HUH? I sat down to hand write the recipe on the cards and after two quickly realized I was never going to make 13. Visions of your cute little name tags running through my brain. Thinking oh I wish I was home to have Becky help me with this one. HELP!
Val, I tried to email you but it is a no reply blogger address. Anyways, brown paper packages is where I found the basic idea and just went from there. Her stuff is really cute. http://www.brownpaper--packages.com/
