lack of posting

I have been so focussed on all that I love about Fall that I forgot what else it brought with it.....

fall begins

such as colds and breathing issues. We made our first middle of the night trip to the ER. Well Jared did with Eli, actually, and then we spent a week or so out of commission. I was sick along with both of the boys. It wasn't fun but it is o.v.e.r. At least for now. We started with the boy's daily breathing treatments which will keep us out of the emergency room and hopefully help the boys stay healthy throughout the Fall and Winter. So far, so good.

We also separated the boys rooms. This has made nap and bed times SO much easier and they are much better rested. This however has made blogging difficult because my computer that I upload and edit photos on is where Eli sleeps so it is just requiring a bit more planning. I used to blog during their naps, or before they got up, or after they went to bed and now all of those options are gone unless I use our old lap top which has turtle like speed. :)

I have lots of things to blog about and plan to knock out a few posts now on my friend the turtle.

(I came over from your comment on our post on Multiples and more)

Breathing treatments, we must be on the same "sick schedule" with our kids. We just did our first breathing treatments of the year yesterday ourselves, not fun!

Had to come check out your blog when I saw your comment. Keep working on raising those future "men of integrity!"

Sorry to hear they are so sick! Sucks!

We gave up a guest room to separate the boys and it has been so worth it! Every once in awhile we try them back together again but they stay up until 10 singing and laughing then they are cranky the next day.

Oh no, colds are no fun and I am so not looking forward to "Flu Season!"

ugh...colds already?!?! I am not looking forward to this winter at all. Glad everyone is on the mend.
Separating our two (at 8 months) was the best thing we ever did. Do they like being separated? At nap time do they stay in their beds? I'm wondering how it will be once they are in beds in different rooms. Do I have to be a police officer on hall patrol? LOL

I love the fall, too! But not the sickness that comes with it. I've realized, though, that with both boys in daycare, every season is sick season for us. We actually never stopped the breathing treatments with William over the summer. He's on Pulmicort, and we do it every night. He hasn't wheezed since May, though, despite catching a few colds over the summer. So I'm hoping that's progress! Here's hoping for strong immunity for all our boys!
